movie reviews...sort of

Recent movies I've seen: I think I Love My Wife, Blades of Glory
Both of them were pretty cheesy. The first one was just pointless. It featured Chris Rock in a more serious role, and all I can say is, he isn't as succesful as Jack Black who did pretty well in "The Holiday". The movie just lacks emotion...period. Oh, and the whole movie was all about s3x. And the jokes were all dry.

Blades of Glory on the other hand, was so so. Although yes, it's kinda cheesy, but at least it was hilarious. It was a comedy and it made people laugh, and I guess that's all that matters. haha

Now, here's a movie I'm looking out for. When will it be shown in Manila? Hmmm...

am back!

After 16 days in Toronto. I am now back in Manila. I wish that I could have stayed longer. Life there is so much nicer. and there's no pollution, no traffic, and less scary(when walking out at night). And life there is more laidback and peaceful too. You get more time to spend with family and friends. Here, you have to worry about going home early because of the rampant kidnappings, etc.

I arrived Friday afternoon at around 3. I slept for the whole afternoon after I got home, then I woke up for dinner, and went to bed again. Up to now, I'm still pretty groggy. haha

I had loads of fun on this trip. It made me realize that I have to map out my life. In a more realistic way that is. I was hoping to get my MBA, but now, I realize that I really need to get more life's experiences to be able to get more out of that, as well as to relate to my peers there. That is just what am doing right now...thinking, pondering and doing loads of research.

pending projects balance-0

OMG! This is the first time in weeks since I didn't have any undone projects in my pending projects folder. I was able to finish the last PTL 4:30 this afternoon. Well, ok, its not because I worked faster or what. I didn't have the next PTL that came in because I'll be on leave starting tomorrow. Yey! Two weeks without PTL, BTS, TID and of course that pesky factor here at work.

The pilot episode of Pushing Daisies is out. We downloaded it via torrent. It's cute! Kinda creepy to think about, but at least the story is more or less fresh. Ok, maybe more. The __years __weeks __days __hours ___minutes voiceovers were amusing. Love the vibrant colours and the music. They remind me of fairy tales. The jokes were also witty and smart. There were lines like "You can't just touch someone's life and be done with it."

Anyway, see you guys in two weeks!
