Wow! The intervals between my blogs has been getting longer and longer...haha
This week was pretty much hectic. I feel so tired! I don't even know why...
Let's see what I did the past week:
Monday- Went to the public school around the corner to vote. There were lots of people lined up at the sideback still giving out sample ballots and flyers, telling people to vote for the candidate they support. There were also a lot of stalls selling street food there.
rest of the week- work, work and more work. We were simply inundated with the sudden surge of projects coming in. It was overwhelming..but hey, I am getting the hang of things. I was able to finish 3 projects in one day! Yey for me! Oh and we were also told to get rid of our P2P software by next Tuesday. boo-hoo
Last night, I met up with a friend from Cebu...We were supposed to get to Mall of Asia, but we couldn't get a taxi, so we ended up taking a jeep to Greenbelt. It was so kakatuwa, coz it was his first time to ride in a jeepney...hehehe He seemed all worked up and tired, coz he walked from his office all the way to our office and he also got lost a few times along the way. ^_^
Today-have to enrol in driving lessons again (dad's orders, coz of the accident last January), go to the dentist, go to Seattle's Best Coffee, get a hair cut. I wonder if I'll have enough time for all that. *sigh*

Escape
I really need to escape from my life...rather the complexities that surround it. I have never felt so trapped before. SOmehow, this sense of responsibility has sunk in. My parents are getting so attached to me that its so obvious that they will have problems letting go when the time comes for me to leave home to pursue my MBA. They say that they'll be ok with whatever my decision will be, but their actions do otherwise. Everytime I'm reviewing, they'll just come into the room and ask me to do this or that...They know I'm reviewing. Then they do my share of the chores so that I could study, but that 30-40 minutes of time I save is really not enough for me to review properly. They are just overprotective...and to make matters worst, my mom is also a nagger. She wants to control every aspect of my life, including what I do, what I say when talking to people, sometimes, even how I do things. Not meaning anything else, I'm not the same as my mom. She doesn't realize that unlike her, I have dreams of being reald good in my career. I want to be able to one day be on top of the world...and I don't need "connections" to succeed, I am confident of my abilities, and I went to good schools, thus academically, am also okay. I have bigger dreams than just learning to bake and have a SME. I need a competitive, highly dynamic environment to thrive and further challenge myself to do better.

Heroes ep21 and the new Cybershot
Watched Heroes ep21 yesterday...it showed Sylar with a soft side, it explained why he wanted to be in total control. His mom pushed him too hard. Saying stuff like, you can be something special. Sylar was also repenting for what he has done, and yet she's pushing him back into doing bad stuff. Grrr....Although if she had known that her son cut other people's had and picked on their brains, she probably wouldn't push him that hard.
______
I want the new Sony Cybershot DSC-G1! I love the fact that it has 2gb of internal memory(and it can still be increased with a Memory stick)...the wifi sharing feature is also pretty cool, but it's not really useful unless the person you want to share with also has a camera that is wifi compatible. Then I also like the big screen and the PSP type menu...It's definitely going to be easier to organize pictures with that.More details here.

types of suitors
got this from someone else's multiply site..my comments at the end of the post
"10 types ng manliligaw!"
1. Mr. Gwapings
"sinong kasama mo?" "anong ginagawa mo?" at kung anu- ano pa. basta tungkol sa daily activities mo kelangan malaman nya.
5. Mr. Take it or leave it
7. Mr. Good Dog
8. Mr. Anonymous
>> motto nya ang "action speaks louder than words". wala kang kaalam- alam, nanliligaw na pala. kaya pala ang bait- bait sayo. e akala mo mabait lang talaga. hehe!
9. Mr. Second chance
>> sya ang pinakamasugid mong manliligaw. kahit 100 tayms mong sabihing ayaw mo sa kanya at wala na syang pag- asa ang sasabihin nya parin "Please give me a second chance"
10. Mr. Romantiko
Manliligaw is common here in the Philippines, and maybe in the other "more conservative" countries as well. I may seem paranoid when I say this but, somehow, I think courtship is where two people tend to put their best feet forward just to impress the other party. This is so impractical, since after a few years, you can get tired of holding a "mask" when you are together, and you will want to let your true self come out.
I'd prefer to start out as friends...that way you will be able to know each other better, and you don't have to be alone too. You can go out with other friends, hang out. Although the downside is that, you may feel awkward if it doesn't work out.

1 week no blog....
Wow! It seems that its' been ages since I've posted an entry.
Recent events that need to be taken into account:
April28-29: Went to Calatagan, Batangas with my officemates. It was one BIG adventure. I'll elaborate a bit. One, the driver of the van we rented drove really fast. It was almost like we were on a roller coaster. Second, when we got to the resort, it was like probinsyang-probinsya and then there was a brownout. But the beach was private. There were only a few people there, so it was like we had the beach all to ourselves. The water was also pretty clean but it only reached up to above my knees...which technically, is pretty ok considering am not a good swimmer.(more photos in my multiply)

April30: Went to work...but didn't do much. hehe Blame it on the fact that the day is sandwiched between the weekend and a holiday.
May1: stayed at home, reviewed for GMAT. Pretty boring stuff.
today: watching Heroes ep20(as in right this minute) It's getting really exciting! I can't wait for the next episodes. 3 more to go! Boo to Matt Parkman...
